Iris Sagitta is a Hungarian-American freelance photographer based in the New York Metropolitan Area, specializing in fine art portraiture and analog photography processes. Sagitta's mediums of preference include 35mm, medium format, 4x5, Polaroid, cyanotype, and digital/multimedia. Themes of intimacy, femininity, and queerness are central to her work.
In addition to her current artistic pursuits, Sagitta has continued volunteer experience at the Penumbra Foundation in New York City and has studied at the Fashion Institute of Technology and the International Center of Photography. Sagitta's work has been featured recently at the Galerie Joseph's Paris Photo Off 2023 and No Agency New York's No Erotica series. She featured her original Polaroids at the ImageNation New York March 2024 show in TriBeca.
